For years, Rising Tide Toronto has engaged in actions in Tkaronto targeting the financiers and companies behind the Coastal Gas Link pipeline and other pipelines going through unceded territory of the Wet’suwet’en.

Neither the federal or provincial governments, nor Coastal GasLink, nor any pipeline companies have ever obtained the consent of the Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs for pipeline construction.

In a continuation of their violent history, the RCMP have been acting as a mercenary of industry committing countless violations, trespassing and violence.

Rising Tide Toronto is committed to supporting the struggle for sovereignty of the Wet’suwet’en and acting where we live – fighting against the actors here in Toronto who benefit from mega-extraction and colonialism.
